Because I didn't want to point-blank ask them (vaccinations)

So I've started going to a new playgroup and with all these recent stories about anti-vaccination people scaring the crap out of me I needed to find out if all kids involved were what I would consider acceptable play buddies.
But I felt so bad sitting in someone else's living room and point-blank asking everyone about their kid's status...
so I took the next even remotely hijack-able sentence and turned it into a vaccination anecdote about my LO, waiting to see if the others followed suit.

Everyone had a vaccination story to tell, I feel so much better and my conflict-avoiding self is happy with the outcome.

Woohoo! More friends for LO to share drool-covered toys with!
