I was literally on my way to get my walker, my vag wax, and my prenatal massage when both places shut down because of the snow. We're supposed to get about a foot but it had literally just started.

My house is a wreck and my best friend, other friend, and best friends boyfriend all came up in here. I had to crate all three dogs because they only knew my best friend and wanted to murder the other two. There's no food in the house and I have to hope that my ex can manage to hit a store on the way back.

What the holy hell?

I also woke up vomiting and can barely walk. I cried when I got dressed because it was so difficult and painful.

I got to go Out In the World yesterday! I had IHOP, which made me have contractions but they passed, then I got sushi and fancy coffee drinks! I felt like the queen of England!

I'm 37 weeks 1 day.

My ex picked up the walker for me today and its balls. I would rather just tuck and roll or sit down fast if I fall. The walker is likelier stuff in my way. Maybe I need a womb shield.

Awesome. I won't mention mine was a planned c/s then! lol

It's a good thing, too. When my OB, who is fantastic, was in there she kept talking to me about crazy shit. Here's me, all doped up and unable to move half my body & waiting to see my baby, and she's talking about my crazy uterus and how it wasn't wanting to start contracting back to where it should be or some shit. Then one of the OR nurses says "Well, it's old! It's doing a good job for being 42 years old, don't you think?" And then she's tying up the tubes and I hear something like a pop down there and the OB says "Yep, that one's broken." Anyway, Aria wasn't coming out with any help from my body. I never felt a contraction and apparently wasn't anywhere close to feeling one. They would have had to go in after her regardless.

Wtf. Id be pissed if someone said that shit to me. I stopped answering my phone because of kate middleton and prince george nonsense.

I had one nurse tell me i needed to hurry up and give birth so him and the prince could share a birthday. I told her he wasnt allowed to be born till bf got there. I also refused to push till bf got there. And i didnt give birth till t got there. Bentley gets his stubborness from me

I didnt have my mid wife i had the on call midwife. I wasnt planning on telling to many irl people i was in labor, but i had to call my school, my campus manager told everyone. Then one person posted it on facebook so i hsd to text several good friends and my sister and bf had to text mine and his family so they didnt find out i was in labor over facebook.

I'm totally going to keep it to myself when it finally happens. I promised everyone I'd let them know but I'm just going to have me and my ex there. I paid $800 for a doula and I decided probably not gonna want her there either (but I'm not telling her that in case I change my mind).

Ill probably tell you guys before I tell IRL people.

I had to tell school for mat leave, i was pretty pissed they started telling people. I really just wanted it to be my sister bf and i. My sister amd bil are ds god parents. My sister told my parents and other sistets and bf told his parents and his siblings incase of complications. Which there were minor ones. Plus my oldest sister brought my sister and bf food and had to be told not to come up cause i was vommiting all over.

@gamera3000 Why the change in heart with your doula? I had one and am really glad she was there. If nothing else then for writing shit down. But she was great as a companion even though I had my mom, my midwife, & a student midwife. Her putting pressure on my back during contractions helped if nothing more than a distraction. I'd never birth again without one. Just curious though...

I'm pretty sure this is some kind of HIPPA violation. Not saying you should or shouldn't, but you can sue the school AND the person who spilled the beans if it is.

@eg214 I liked my doula, but she doesn't seem to get the extent of my neurological disease or how I'm feeling. I don't like people touching me or telling me what to do and I get really angry when my neuro symptoms are bad. I'm much more open to the idea of interventions now because I can tell my function is worse every day. I'm not sure ill be able to get up next week, for example.

The only person that really knows how bad it is is my ex, who has lived with me since we were teenagers. I gave him written instructions on what to let people do to/for me in different situations.

I posted on facebook while I was in labor. My status was "epidurals are magic." That was stupid because then my phone kept going off, LOL. I was like "for fuck's sake, you guys. You do realize that means I'm busy, right?"

I had an appt with my doula and her assistant today. They surprised me by being very pro-gamera and gameras special needs. They took my condition very seriously and made it clear that they're cool with whatever I want and nothing I do or say will offend them.

They recommended I go ahead and start on a few pre labor hippy supplements like borage oil and a couple other things. I feel better. I feel like I have a better chance of going into labor on my own before I get too bad.

There are pressure points in your hands that can supposidley start labor. Also, get a pedicure and ask them to focus the massage on your ankle

You have pressure points in your ankles that can make you go into labor. Plus it feels good with all the swelling going on
