hi ladies, I'm so glad I found this thread! I haven't been active on TB in a while - I was a part of the September 2011 board but because I'm in CA, I never really had the time to participate during work hours ... and then Carly was born, and I migrated over to the FB group and have been there (and then the spin-off groups, ha) ever since.
we have a pretty big group, but everyone is either pregnant, have had another, or actively ttc. I don't know if I'm ready to say I'm absolutely one and done, but if we do have another, it won't be for a few more years because of a few reasons:
- COL, and we live in a tiny apt.
- I'm not convinced siblings are necessary like people say. my brother and I are not close at all.
- I want to focus on my career
- I had a horrible pregnancy and birth
- I had PPA and PPD
- I already have an amazing child; i might as well wait and if it happens, it happens, but if it doesn't, well, Carly is all I need.
so it all sounds pretty reasonable and logical, right? But I'm kind of going through something like baby fever, and I'm not sure if it's just because I'm on a board with so many women who are/have had #2. so, I'd love to hang out here and get some different perspectives in my day to day, if that's okay.
in return, I offer pretty active participation, a cute kid, and pretty good conversation.
