SS as explained in the "hooked foot" thread my feet were turned inward really bad. I had casts on my legs until I was 2+. I walked shortly after they were removed.
I didn't walk until 14.5 months. My mom and dad always like to remind me that I would sit on the floor and yell at my brother to go get me stuff. He is 2 years older and would be running all over the house for me. Now dh does the same thing
According to my mom, I was quite the fussy baby until I could walk and talk. She said as soon as I could be "independent" I did it. So I walked and talked early. They have a video of me dancing into my first birthday party. <:-P
I was the 5th kid in my family..I have about 6 different pictures of me growing up and my mom had no memory or record of when I did anything. I should use that as a lesson and write things down for my girls. ...
10 months. My mom said the day after I took my first step I was waking like I'd done it forever. I slipped the wobbly falling down stage. It makes me sad that our babies could be walking in 6 months! Or less
I put 13-14 months, but I really don't know why I think that. Maybe my mom told me, but it could very well be wrong.
DD was just over a year.
DS is going to be much faster I am afraid. He is 3 1/2 months and rolling both ways easily, almost sitting up by himself, pushes up to stand with the slightest help and is already trying to scoot around when toys are out of reach. I'm terrified.
14 months for me and I was the earliest walker of my siblings. My brother didn't start walking until he was 18 months old - one month before I was born. My mom thought she would have to carry around two babies!
I guess I'm slooooow. I didn't walk until almost 2 years old. My mom said I had no reason to; my brother would fetch anything I wanted. I wish he still did. LOL.
My mom has been watching A's mannerisms and movements and just shakes her head and smiles. Apparently A is just like me when I was a baby. I was walking at 7 months. Skipped crawling altogether.
A is ready to move. Its super cute. She talks up a storm too though.
My sister told me that often when a baby learns to walk really young, it often goes hand-in-hand with them being bedwetters. I had never heard of that before- any truth to that?
I just asked my mom and she said she never had any issues with that! She said I just walked and talked very early.
