3. GTKY: a lot of us are finding out the sex of our babies now. So, any new project(s) you are working on or plan to start soon? Bonus points for pics!
2. Symptoms ~ nothing new, but we are finally getting headaches under control with the preventatives. Starting to feel more like myself, other than the aches and pains of a growing bump.
3. GTKY: a lot of us are finding out the sex of our babies now. So, any new project(s) you are working on or plan to start soon? Bonus points for pics! ~ We recently found out that we are having a baby GIRL! So I am going crazy buying all the stuff to make frilly things. Here is the car seat cover that I just finished for her.
I also have purchased fabric for her nursery bedding. While on an errand, I ran across these chairs and had a fit over the fabric. I asked where it came from and immediately went to the store to buy some for her bedding. Can't wait to get it all done!
1. Week/Fruit 20wks - BANANA!! 2. Symptoms heart burn, a little constipation, and the weather related migraines. 3. GTKY: a lot of us are finding out the sex of our babies now. So, any new project(s) you are working on or plan to start soon? Bonus points for pics!
We found out a couple weeks ago we're having a boy. Starting the nursery today!!! I'll post some before and after photos once they are done.
**Side note** Think we should have a sticky of the nursery photos as they start to come through? I don't want to be a SS/AW but it'll probably happen since there isn't a sticky
:P

@bewilderingstar - I definitely agree! I have been dying to post the pics, but didn't want to create an AW post. When I saw that there wasn't a Saturday Ticker thread yet, I figured it would be the perfect place to slip it in. :P

Let the shopping begin! We found out in Tuesday we are having a ....Boy! We did a reveal just to our immediate family...now it's time to start on projects...I'm looking at painting letters for the baby's room once we decide on a name and also a car seat cover if I can figure out how to do it.
2. Symptoms: Still nauseated from time to time but I haven't gotten sick since Monday (YAY). I was diagnosed with GD so working out the diet and hoping that I can control it with diet alone (but the diet is pretty freaking annoying).
3. GTKY: a lot of us are finding out the sex of our babies now. So, any new project(s) you are working on or plan to start soon? Bonus points for pics! We are not going to find out the sex until the baby is born. But...I did paint the nursery a sand color last week and plan on using DS's Forest Friends crib bedding, once baby gets here we might change it...we might not, we'll just have to see.
Week: 18, sweet potato!
Symptoms: frequent urination, just starting to feel movement but they're not regular yet.
GTKY: no projects yet since we won't find out what we're having until March 8th. Eventually, I'll either be making DD2's room super girlie for two girls or I'll be making it gender neutral for DD2 and her new little brother
Leg cramps and difficulty with lung capacity ... Guess everything's starting to get squished again...
We found out officially we're having a girl. The only big project right now is adding a wall to what will be her new room. It's a 3-wall den but looks like previous residents knocked the wall out because there is a door and a closet leftover... Looks soo weird. But other than that nothing fancy just yet.
Eta: I forgot, I did decide to knit DD a blanket. I bought all the supplies and figured out casting on... Now to learn the rest!
1. Week/Fruit: 20 weeks--half baked!
2. Symptoms: mostly just tired all the time
3. GTKY: a lot of us are finding out the sex of our babies now. So, any new project(s) you are working on or plan to start soon? Bonus points for pics!
I'm having a boy and I want to sew him a quilt and teething guards for his crib, but haven't gotten started or picked out fabric yet.
Big sister {September 2008} Sweet boy {April 2011} Fuzzy Bundle {ETA July 2014}
Having a boy! He'll be sharing a room with DS, so the biggest project is getting my 4 years of only child to understand he'll be sharing (very mad to give up his toddler bed for bunk beds, I think he's crazy!!)
Also knitting a blanket. I am trying to figure how we can do everything male neutral to accommodate a 4 year old and baby- I'm not going crazy with it though, so there isn't going to be a "theme".
Symptoms: Feeling lots of kicks! My lower back is hurting more (couldn't walk after the A/S from laying in a weird position for so long!). I think I may have had a braxton hicks contraction last night too. My belly got hard in one spot for a minute and then went back to normal- really freaked me out but it wasn't painful or anything!
GTKY: Found out this week we're having a little girl! We had a general nursery idea before but I've been pinning girly accents/colors the last few days! Haven't started any projects yet since it's only been a few days. So excited though!
2. Symptoms: my poor uterus feels like it was sucker punched- apparently this is what round ligament pain feels like. Other than that, general fatigue, moodiness, and craving Mexican food and ice cream.
3. GTKY: Our A/S appointment isn't until March 10th but my husband picked out this green paint color that is gender neutral that I really like. We still are unsettled with a theme but I'm liking the idea of forest animals. Mostly because we have a Shiba Inu and he looks like a little fox
20 weeks! Really starting to "feel" pregnant in that I find I am walking slower, really showing, and have all the trouble of not sleeping on my stomach OR back anymore. While we don't know thw the sex (team green) I do know their name will start with a 'C' so I am doing a little framed 'C' made out of buttons for above the crib....now to just stop myself from bedazzling everything while I have the glue gun out :-)
No new symptoms really.. morning sickness is still occasional, headaches, sore/bleeding gums, stuffy/runny nose. Nothing too bothersome thankfully.
Will find out sex at 20 weeks!! (Well, our appt is actually at 20 wks 6 days, had to wait an extra week to get in with the Dr) The waiting is killing me!
I tried to be very careful shoveling snow this week. Whew, that tired me out! It's also taking me longer to get up the stairs. I'm ready for warmer weather and being able to show off a real bump...not just ten layers of sweaters.
We do not want to find out the sex. We are also waiting for a pending move...so no shopping or prepping yet.
2. Symptoms: Still having some morning sickness, boobs sore by the end of the day, headaches becoming more frequent with the odd bout of light headed ness, heartburn, and some sciatic pain too. Geez, I'm a wreck! Oh yeah and lots of kicks/punches from this LO!
3. GTKY: Found out we are having a baby boy! I have picked up some yarn to start crocheting a baby blanket or two (or three if I dip into my extensive yarn stash). But first I have to finish sewing some spring/summer clothes for my DD among other projects I already have on the go.
@vanityaphair - I had read on here where some people were taking magnesium supplements as a preventative. I mentioned it to my dr at the next appointment and she put me on 500mg (taken in two doses) of mag, 400-500mg of B2, and Reglan (taken in four doses) a day. It took a couple of weeks to get in my system and really start to work, but it has been 2 weeks since my last migraine. I have woken up two times in the middle of the night since with minor headaches, but they were gone by the time I got up for the day. It was a life saver!!!! Maybe mention it to your doc at your next appointment. The Reglan is the only thing that you need a prescription for though.
20 Weeks -- Bananna!!!
Symptoms: I ended up in the hospital on the APU unit this weekend. We had weaned my Zofran pump on Friday. Sunday early morning I started getting sick...very sick. I ended up very dehydrated and needing a ton of fluids. I feel like I am starting all over with what I can eat and drink....basically nothing again. I am up even higher on my Zofran pump than before...can only go up one more time and then I lose the ability for demand/bolus doses. I hope we do not have to change the meds to something stronger...I need to be able to work.
