Rec your jogging stroller?

Once this damn snow melts I want to get into walking/jogging with LO. My sister gave me her old jogging stroller but the front tire doesn't swivel which makes it difficult to turn.. so I want to get a new one. What kind of jogging stroller do you have? Do you like it?

  • We have this one, and love it.  The seat reclines fully so that LO can take a nap in it.  It also has an adjustable handle bar so DH (6'3") and I (5'8") can both use it comfortably.  Furthermore, there are hand brakes so you can slow yourself down if you're on a hill.

However, when you are jogging with any of these strollers, you are supposed to lock the front wheel to prevent it from getting out of control.  Therefore, I'm not sure that should be a reason to get a new one.  But I'm always wanting new baby gear, so I understand :)

  • BOB revolution! I have owned two BOBs, the first was a fixed wheel single stroller and it definitely was hard to walk with or run if you weren't on a long, straight path. We bought a double BOB revolution last year when we were getting ready for LO, I love it!

  • @Pink724 - Ooops, shows how much I know about these things haha. Even walking it is just so hard to turn..
It is a little bit of just wanting something NEW too.. but DH doesn't have to know that ;)

Thanks ladies for your recommendations, I am going to check all of them out.

  • @casey78 - Do you use that stroller when out and about or just walks/jogs/sitting in your dining room? (JK)
I like the price of it and am considering that one but I want to be able to transport it and use it as our main stroller as well. Some of the reviews say it is huge, do you agree?

I've done soooooo much research on jogging stollers. I plan to buy this one when my neck gets better. I like that I can use it with one or two kids.

You have to buy the wheel and baby snuggler seperately

Obviously I haven't used it yet though.

because it didn't fucking snow enough for me to build my own
  • I went cheap and bought an Instep and I hate it. It's huge, heavy, hard to get in and out of my car, has pieces you have to take off each time you fold it. The only plus is that it reclines really far for LO, even though she fights naps in it.

  • Love our BOB Revolution.
  • We are BOB revolution fans as well.

We have the Bob Revolution. It's a nice stroller in that we can use it for things other than jogging. It's nice to take the Bob out for outdoor activities like the beach, farmers market, anything outdoors. It's nice for jogging too. It's a smooth ride and you can lock or unlock the front wheel.
