AW: First steps

Annabelle just started taking her first steps today (5-6 without holding onto anything) walking between DH and I. I can't believe it! My older kids were 16 months and 14 months before they took their first steps, so I really didn't expect this. She still doesn't crawl because she always wanted to be up on her feet cruising. Any others already taking steps? My LO was born 4/30 so she is an older one on our board. They are growing so fast!

Aww how exciting! R is getting braver letting go but no real steps yet. He can get around the living room by holding onto the couch, ottoman, play table etc though. Definitely a reminder we need to do more baby proofing

Good job Annabelle!

Within the past week he has been taking a few steps here and there. Today he started standing up with just his legs and not holding on to anything.

Not here its all I can do to get Audrey to stand at all. Every time I try to put her in a standing position she puts her legs straight in front of her imagine a 90 degree angle. But boy she is one fast crawler and when we say "what are you doing" she smiles turns and goes faster.

Aww that's awesome!!
Madison took two steps on the 12th but hasn't since, she stands and looks like she will walk right to you but then lowers herself to the floor lol. She will be 9 months old in 2 days

I can't believe how fast our may babies are growing.

That is exciting!

A will take a step between couches and she walks like crazy around furniture, walls, people etc. She is 8.5 months now so she might end up walking early like her brothers but you never know. I just need to learn how to slow time down.
