  Although, I've never been pregnant with more than two, I had a TON of ultrasounds with identical twins, and I'd imagine one would have even more if you were expecting triplets. It's crazy that there wasn't a single ultrasound where the doctor counted four.

  Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
  3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
  3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
  4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!

  PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls

  I get how a doc could miss it in the end since it's so crowded. Even my less experienced techs would get a little mixed up with the two if them. But, I don't see how no one could ever see the fourth in the beginning. Surely, she had half the hospital staff looking at those ultrasounds! I'd be embarrassed too!
  
  And, I screamed at my RE when he said there were two. I may have slapped him if he missed a fourth!

  Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
  12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!

  Maybe she didn't have any early ultrasounds since they were spontaneous, not ART? I don't know, but identical quads is just crazy.

  @CarrieB. - That was my initial thought. If it was spontaneous she might have had her first u/s a bit later in the game.
  
  I know things definitely got crowded with twins so I can see how things got jumbled with more than two. That being said, you would think that during her million scans with a MFM - especially her a/s - that they would notice an additional head! I know I had two a/s with twins so I imagine she had more than one detailed scan.
  
  Most importantly, did anyone read far enough to see those names? "The Fugates said they have named the babies Kenleigh Rosa, Kristen Sue, Kayleigh Pearl and Kelsey Roxanne. The quadruplets join big sister Katelyn, who is 10." So their daughters' are: Kenleigh, Kristen, Kayleigh, Kelsey, and Katelyn. All pretty names, but way too matchy for me.

  Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
  Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
  IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
  ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
  ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
  Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
  Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 

  Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!
