#1 Being- 'always be available'. Ha, I know that ain't going to go over well with some of you bumpies! Anyway, they did have some good advice in there. Thoughts?

  • I actually don't disagree with most of their advice in that article, other than the waiting 40/80 days thing. That's just bizarre.

But there is a whole world of crazy with them and how they brainwash their daughters.

Someone gave me that advice at my bridal shower, try to say yes more than no (when it comes to sex). I did try to follow it, and it worked for us. 9 times out of 10, even if I didn't really feel like it I ended up enjoying it, and that's what quickies are for. He's got quite the drive. That's all gone out the window post baby, he's lucky to get it once a week, I really am that tired, but I do try. I made up for quantity with quality though ;)You all realize that the duggars are getting more action than 95% of this board, right? Lol

  • Who are they?

It's an American reality television show on TLC. The show is about the Duggar family, parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children—nine girls and ten boys all of whose names begin with the letter "J".

  • I'm surprised this didn't encourage a little more controversy considering all the born again virgins on this board!

That's the tip of the iceberg with these crazies.

I had to Google blanket training too. Also, I thought @BMom99 was referring to the October moms when she said "these crazies." That's what really got me curious. Lol

Haha nope! I was talking about the Duggars and their "Quiverfull" religion. They are a part of an extremely conservative religious group with scary misogynistic tendencies. Scary.

I had no idea this movement even existed! I just read up on it on Wikipedia, so interesting. And I didn't know about blanket training either, how sad for those babies :(
  • I feel like they suck at blanket training. I've only seen a handful of episodes, but those kids are always running around like a bunch of maniacs

More specifically they follow the teachings of Bill Gothard.  Google him and you are sure to get some more good reading.
