We’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?

Ok, so I figured that now would be as good of a time to intro as any.

I'm Scromlette (not scrotum-omelette!), first name Dea. I'm a 27 year old FTM. I've been married for a year and a half, although I have been with my husband for just over 9 years.

I enjoy reading, snark, sci-fi, cats, wine, dystopian fiction, music and general geekery and all around fuckery.

My television is tuned to Doctor Who, Supernatural, GoT, Vikings, TWD and most recently Bates Motel.
My most current playlist contains Ed Sheeran, Jack Johnson, Jack's Mannequin, MSI, The Dirty Heads and Panic at the Disco.

And I'm not really sure what else to say, I hate doing intros, so I'll will leave you this gif of a dog slapping his human:

  • For the fact that there are worse things I could be called, I wouldn't take great offense to that.

  • Hi and welcome (I'm new too).

I love Bates Motel.  Can't wait for it to start back up this month!

Hi! You like Supernatural, I like you. Sam or Dean? I also love a good dystopian novel, any recommendations?
    Castiel.

I'mma pick Sam. I mean I love me some Jensen, but tall and broody is more my style. As far as dystopians, most of what I read is YA. Here are my top 10 recs in no particular order:

    1. Uglies series by Scott Westerfeild
    2. Divergent series by Veronica Roth
    3. Delirium series by Lauren Oliver
    4. Matched series by Allie Condie
    5. The Chemical Garden series by Lauren DeStefano
    6. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass
    7. Sky Chasers series by Amy Kathleen Ryan
    8. The Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan
    9. 1984 by George Orwell
    10. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

The top 8 are new YA the bottom two are classics.  If you enjoy dystopian, read a lot of Bradbury. He was a dystopian master.
