pumping @ work

What did/do you pack for work to pump? How many bottles/storage bags, ect. Going back tomorrow and want to make sure my bag is packed with everything I need :)

Re: pumping @ work

  • When I pumped at work I brought two bottles for pumping into along with the lids; the box of milk storage bags; a cooler bag with ice pack; the valves, flanges, and tubing; APNO or lanolin; and my pumping bra. I kept a box of Mother's Milk Tea in my desk at work, but I pumped in my office and I only drank that tea at work so I just left it there.

  • I bring 2 small bottles to pump into and then a cheap 8 oz bottle from walmart that I store the milk from the first pump in for the second one. My pumping bra, nipple cream, cloth diaper/ burp cloth, set of oymp parts which I store in a wet bag. And a small cooler for the milk between pumps.
  • 2 small bottles to pump into and an 8 oz bottle to store milk, 4 hair ties (for hands free pumping), lunch bag type cooler to store pump parts and milk in the refrigerator, extra breast pads and extra milk storage bags.

  • How'd your first day go?

Each day, I brought with me 3-4 clean bottles, an ice pack, and a carrier bag.

At work, I had milk storage bags, microwave steam sterilizing bags (I actually left my pump parts and work and would just clean them there), the medela cleaning wipes, and my pump.
