Hi everyone!
I was the one that had the question about glasses that auntie nicely posted over here for me. I wanted to introduce myself but wasn't able to because of the 2 day wait to post.
My son is 16 months and my husband and I have two dogs (the screen name!). I used to be a teacher but because my husband was stationed in the south and I had to quit my job, we decided that it would be a good idea for me to be a SAHM for a while.
My son was born with a broken nose which caused a few breathing issues when he was a newborn. Throughout testing he was also found to have a hernia that causes severe heart burn and reflux and he is also being monitored by a cardiologist because of a heart murmur. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed his right eye turning in so our pedi sent us to a pediatric ophthalmologist and he was found to be severely farsighted in his right eye. And here we are with the new glasses!
The first day of glasses was hell BUT it has improved. He still yells at me when I put them on his head but then he gets over it and leaves them on. Today he left them on for 3 hours without trying to take them off. It was a huge victory for us. I called the doctor on Friday and she let me know that crying and screaming the first few days was completely normal.
He just woke up from his nap so wish me luck that he makes 3 hours again this afternoon! And thank you so much to the ladies that posted advice. I really appreciate it!

I was one of the ones that replied. DS2 (almost 4.5yr) has worn glasses since he was 10mos old. :-)
