  • Haha. Nice! DS just gets his at room temp and it doesn't seem to bother him.

  • we put rice cereal in her bottle due to reflux and I'm not sure how it would be room temp..I'm afraid it might not sit well in her stomach or she totes would be getting room temp!

  • DD is on formula so I have a container that I measure out the formula scoops in and carry it seperate from the bottle, prior to leaving I heat up measured out water in bottle REALLY hot, stick it in a insulated bottle bag and by the time she needs it is perfect temp, if it is still to hot I also carry a small bottled water regular temp and adjust as needed. You can also swing through a drive through coffee place and ask for a cup of hot water for tea and adjust as needed.
  • Dude I don't know how I got so lucky. A like cold bottles. If its warm she doesn't like it as much. Anything warmer than room temp is no go. Her tummy doesn't like it much either.

  • DS2 is FF so I just fill bottles with room temp water and measure out formula in a container then mix when needed.

  • DH feeds Clara refrigerator-cold bottles if he's away from home.  He says "Milk Monster doesn't care"

  • Yep we do that too. We use the little salad dressing Tupperware containers. Does anyone know about the rice cereal being warm? Is it necessary to be warmed because I could be saving myself a whole lot of worry...

  • Rice does not need to be warm. Whatever temp you usually give BM or formula is fine.

  • We do lukewarm bottles. I always thought cold wasn't good for them, so have always warmed it slightly. Admittedly, did no research on that assumption....

  • LO will take cold bottles but he fusses a bit at first. Room temp usually works just fine if we're on the go.

  • I guess I overcomplicate things. I always have a thermos of boiled water and a bottle of spring water with me. Formula goes in a dispenser thingy. But DS prefers really warm formula. Maybe because I also BF and that is body temp? Maybe I should try room temperature...hm...

  • It's a good idea about thermo to keep it warm though! I don't know why I didn't think of that. We bought a warmer for the car but that sucked so we returned it.

Same. I carry bottles of spring water in the diaper bag and my smaller container of formula. Pour water in bottle. Add formula. Shake Shake Shake. Good to go!
Samsies here. Occasionally we'll give him a cold bottle and he seems fine with that as well.
