**Monday Healthy Check-In 2/17**

Happy Monday people!

How was your previous week for eating/exercising? Any celebrations or vents?
What are your goals for this week?

Since many of you probably need skis to exercise outside this time of year...here is a gif for you :)

Re: **Monday Healthy Check-In 2/17**

  • We were actually affected by winter last week here in GA, so I only made it to the gym on Monday and Friday. Thursday I set the kinect back up and did a little zumba. Sunday I went for a walk with DS since the temps broke 60 degrees. Not a great week, but not terrible over all.

Eating has been okay. Still could probably be doing more with fruits and veggies. I have started to eat baby carrots with my sandwich at lunch, so there's that. I also found out last Tuesday that they are pretty much just going to consider me to be gestationally diabetic (again). That will make it so that I have to cut back on the sugar/carb intake, which sucks because I just want to eat all the carbs/sugar. I did manage to make myself not even look for the clearance Valentine's candy aisle at the store today. The Girl Scout cookies I bought on the way out of the store are going to stay in the freezer until July ;)

I haven't been viciously eating quite as much lately so I think I'm gaining some self control lol maybe. I've slacked in exercising lately though because I've been so busy. The kids have been home for 5 days, I've had orders to fill out and all sorts of things keeping me busy.

V-day was the only celebration lately but! Now I'm starting to also plan my son's first birthday party. Should be fun and exhausting all at the same time :) I think we'll do a Disney/Mickey mouse theme.

Had my A/S today! Having another boy :) hehe. I'd write that in the sky if I could. Also, for my kids, picture day is tomorrow as well as a field trip to the please touch museum on wednesday. I'm going to be up for a while tonight doing DD's hair -_- but going to the museum with the school will get me out of the house and should be fun.
  • Yay! Congrats on another lil dude @jensavicci!

  • I actually did yoga last week once, so there's that. Eating during the week continues to be good, weekend continues to be a struggle.

Eating has been pretty good. St. Louis Bread Co./Panera has been helping. Their salads are delicious!!!

  • Well no car accidents this week so I made it the gym 4/5 days I wanted to but consider that a win.

My eating was great until the weekend but I managed to reel it in today!

@jenavicci- I just came back from the Please Touch museum today! DS loves that place and I can take the bus which makes it super easy! Have fun tomorrow!

  • Eating has been super awesome thanks to my GD (which could mean goddamn or Gestational Diabetes) diet and it has kept my sugars under control...woo!

I am counting shoveling snow as exercise so I worked out 3 times last week...I'm looking forward to less shoveling and more "actual" workouts.

  • I got in four 3-4 mile runs last week. I only went to Barre class once though and really wanted to make it at least 3 times. My eating was so so. Not always the healthiest, but I didn't eat big portions and it could have been way worse. I really need to find some more motivation though. I've really been dragging for the last 3 weeks.

Goddamn diet is pretty accurate. I am realizing today that I'll pretty much be a big bitch the rest of this pregnancy now that I have to stick to that diet more closely. It's so unfair to restrict what a pregnant woman can eat...
