Baby Brezza Formula Maker

So it's basically like a keurig for formula. I was wondering if any of you ladies have used it and what the pros and cons are? My twins are 2 months and I think it could make my life easier but I'm wondering of there are any major drawbacks. Thanks!

Re: Baby Brezza Formula Maker

  • It seems to me like a fairly in unnecessary item. Formula is not hard to make, you scoop, you pour in water is desired temp, you shake bottle. :)

  • DH and I thought about this. I mean, sometimes it was harder than we wanted with just 1... then we remembered, she rarely finished a bottle, so we had to put them in the fridge, then because we didn't have a bottle warmer it would take forever to heat the left-overs up in a bowl of hot water. So, hopefully the twins will either nurse nicely or be hearty enough eaters to finish their bottles. Either way, we're getting a bottle warmer this time! (If it was less expensive, it would be more tempting, too.)
  • @Pittpanther - I have one and I can't say enough AMAZING things about it. It literally has changed my life. The water stays warm so DS always has a nice bottle... No more scooping, measuring, no bottle shaking adding extra air, no spilling formula on the counter, no sticky fingers and no smelling that nasty formula smell (ugh, made me nauseated)... The thing literally pours a perfect bottle. I told all my friends about it and some had reactions like pp but the ones that eventually got them were sorry they didn't get them sooner. You literally push a button to select bottle size (2,4,6,8,10 oz) and then press start and you are done. I also use it to make cereal in the morning. No measuring - just press 2 oz and stick the bowl underneath. In fact, I'm considering buying another machine when the twins arrive bc we are moving from the city to the burbs and I want one on each floor. Even my husband said after coming back from vacation and going back to scooping that he wants to bring the machine with us next time. The only con I have was that the set up was tricky but I called brezza and they walked me through it. There are no cons in our daily use of it.

  • OMG - I was desperate for something like this when mine were on formula. It must be new because the only thing like it I remember seeing was only available in Europe. I say go for it!

  • Don't know about the Breza but we have a tommee tipple perfect prep that I love! It makes the bottles in a minute and we haven't had any problems with it in 6 months since we got it. I know it's not a necessity but if rather use the machine than mix and warm etc, for the price we have certainly got our money's worth.

  • I think it sounds amazing! I wish they had it a year ago. I disagree that it's simple to make a bottle. I would spend 30 minutes each night making all 16 bottles for the next day and would have to heat them up each feeding. I ended up getting a Dr. Brown's formula pitcher which helped but was still annoying. I never made bottles on demand because who wants to spill powder and formula all over your counter 8 times a day or deal with screaming babies while you make them, or make them in the middle of the night when you are half asleep? I also never shook the bottles because my babies had slight reflux. It would have been amazing to push a button and have warm formula right away! If you can afford it and it makes your life easier, get it!

  • I registered for one as well as some warmers too... I think its a great idea if it works well. If nobody buys it for us though, I'm not sure if I will get one. I'm also hoping to breastfeed so its a back up plan for me.

  • That thing looks miraculous! Just added 2 to my wish list.
  • I got one last month and I absolutely LOVE it. My boys are 4 months and im glad I got it early enough that I can get enough use out of it. It really saves me SO MUCH time and is easily to maintain.

  • My babies are breast feeding right now but if/when they start formula feeding I would for sure consider this!!! Anything that saves time with twins!!
