DH. Took him this morning to the van to head out to the base he'll be deploying from. Listening to DS1 cry for his daddy was probably the most heartbreaking thing I've ever heard. God this sucks

I also teared up when you said about your oldest crying for daddy. Do you skype with your H? Or does that make it even harder?

9 months. Urgh. It hurts me every time I say it out loud.

I can Skype with him on port calls every few weeks. He can call from the ship every 2-3 days.

I totally will! I know I'm coming up for a wedding in April but depending on my job situation, I may only be up for a weekend. If I'm still unemployed, I'll be up for a couple weeks.
