Mom of the Year

We have a gas fireplace in our living room. I turned it on for a minute earlier to warm the room up and (long story short) DD touched the glass before it cooled down all the way and burned two of her fingers. They look okay (other than being red... kind of sun burn red), but I feel horrible. On call doc said there isn't anything to do other than watch it, but still feeling bad about it.

Oh, poor baby and mom! DD walked off the loveseat, head first a few weeks ago. I am still traumatized by it.
