Advice?

I know this board used to not be very active and there was a Facebook group but I figured I'd post and see if anyone is around. My DH just completed our fourth and final ivf-it was a disaster! Even more devastating because we thought we had finally "figured out" what was wrong in our previous cycles. Anyway we are officially out of money and just tired. We've been talking a lot about our lives potentially being child free. It's hard but I don't know what other logical option there is. How did you make the transition? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Just want to say I am so very sorry for all you have been through

I wish I had some advice. If this donor egg cycle doesn't work we are done if I don't decide to quite before hand. It will be 3 yrs this April since we started this journey. Still haven't cycled.

MH and I constantly argue over this. It's taking a toll in our marriage. Give up or push along? Who quites right before a cycle? Who gets their way..me or MH? Crystal ball where are you?? It makes me sad to hear others say they will stop at nothing to have a baby. Sigh...we just can't do that or rather MH won't go into debt or travel or basically anything. I'm lucky I was able to get this far. It is what it is I guess.

I was on this board about 2 yrs ago for only a month and it was pretty bad for me. If I have to be CF now it might be a little easier knowing I tried one cycle..hopefully..and it will be the closure I need if it doesn't work. The thought of that makes my heart hurt. Big huge hugs and I guess I really didn't give you any advice! Good luck to you on whatever steps you take next. Oh and the girls on here are truly wonderful and helpful

I don't know if you'll see this, but there is a website called coming2terms and the woman who runs it does kind of "therapy" series called Roadmap to Healing (I think). It was a seven week program that kind of leads you through the grieving process and it was free. It was all online, videos by email and a chat forum. Anyway, she just did one that started in January or February (don't recall) and it was great for me! I don't know when the next on will be, but it might be helpful to you.

Nope! I was wrong. The website is Life Without Baby, but the program is called Roadmap to Healing. https://lifewithoutbaby.com/road-map-to-healing/

I only did the free program, but it was beyond helpful for me. Good luck!
