I'm thinking ahead for NB diapers, and want to have a lot more closure less fitteds than before. We have some snappis, but a lot of the fabrics I want to use don't seem to get grabbed very well by the snappis so I was thinking of adding some pins to my stash. I'm not so scared of sticking a baby, since obviously there are ways to be careful and avoid that, but I have this fear of them bending and popping open once the diaper has been fastened and the cover put on. Has anyone had this happen, or are they pretty sturdy?
Re: TTMA diaper pins
FWIW my mom used flats with pins back in the 70s/80s. She used cheapo pins and never had one pop open.
