Hi there! I've been off this board, and all of the bump since right before I had my LO on 7-13-13. Before he was born I was involved in this board. I'm hoping to get back involved now! I'm a first time mom who's finding this transition to be extremely difficult and could use the advice and encouragement from this group. I hope you all will welcome me back after such a long break.

I don't really post much but I read a lot of the posts, which have helped me a lot!
Re: Hoping to be back on the board
But since you are having trouble, by all means...

Love pie, love cheese, love animals.. I have a dog who was my first baby until the real baby came along.
I'm just curious, if you were too busy for our friendship before please explain why it's all of the sudden cool to drop in? Lurking doesn't automatically give you a pass...

The transition to motherhood hasn't really been at all what I was expecting, after a pretty rough delivery...the first few months with a newborn and figuring out how to keep my marriage strong despite disagreeing on many parenting decisions has been a struggle for me. I am just now starting to feel comfortable and confident as a mom and wife.
I felt so wrapped up in trying to figure things out myself, I stayed away from the Bump and most of my friends outside of the bump for way too long. And, as I said in my post, am hoping to be a bit more involved. I wasn't a huge poster before but I would comment my opinion when I felt I had something of value I add.
