DS1 had the fancy, expensive crib bedding set. LO used the sheet and skirt from big brothers. When we move to our new house LO is getting his own room, but I still won't be getting a crib set. Basic sheets/crib skirt FTW.
I like my Bumbo but wouldn't have one if it wasn't a gift. LO likes it at time. He spends most of his time in it trying to figure out how to take the tray off.
I don't do expensive baby clothes but LO does have shoes. He hasn't had them since he was a newborn but we have a few pair that were given to us. He has a black pair of "fancy" shoes that he wore in holiday pictures, but most of the time he is in socks.
I loved this! Im guilty of the bedding set too and kept thinking why did I get this?? But I love that I can say I have "expensive" clothes, all seconds and hand me downs from others. best way to get the nicer brands!
Very funny, but I agree that I have the whale tub and I love it. I was using the sink, but DS is too. It for that now and plus he loves to splash so he can splash all he wants because I keep the whale in the tub. I did get a bedding set, but it was gifted to me at my shower, didn't have a bumper, and wasn't very expensive.
I love our wipe warmer LOL. It really is pointless though because the wipe is cold before it gets to her bum. I hate the bumbo seat too. We put her in and it's like ok now what? Plus her chunky legs hardly fit
I got the Prince Lion Heart Bebe Pod instead of the Bumbo (but its basically the same) I LOVE it! He sits in it for every meal Im having, I love that the tray slides on to be used as a mini high chair. And my city mini GT is amazeballs.
Most of these are bullshit. Clothes that go over a newborn's head? That's like 90% of all clothes. My kid has a GIANT noggin and I never had a problem putting anything on him. Wash him in the sink? What, my kitchen sink that is full of dirty dishes because I can't find 5 minutes to empty the dishwasher? Umbrella stroller? How does that work for a newborn?
I don't necessarily agree with the whole list but I get her point. Some of that stuff is convenient but not actually needed like you are made to believe when having a baby.
LO has "shoes" because they keep her socks from falling off and it is so cold. They are more like fleece booties but I also have a pair of adorable mary jane roobeez for her as soon as she can fit in them (getting close!)
Re: 10 things you really don't need for baby. Good for a laugh.

2)we a bumbo type seat with a bunch of toys on it. It comes a part to act like a high chair or booster..
