Pain when baby moves around

I'm 29 weeks and sometimes when the baby moves a lot I'll get a sudden pain in the bladder area. Does anyone else get this?

Re: Pain when baby moves around

  • The baby might just be hitting your bladder. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and the baby's movements are definitely painful sometimes.

  • I'm 34 weeks and sometimes the babies (I'm having twin boys), hurt when they move. Sometimes it's a quick pain sometimes, like when they sit in my ribs the pain lasts longer, very uncomfortable.
  • I'm also 29wks and I get a jab of pain when she kicks into my bladder or cervix. Esp if my bladder is full. I also get a bruised feeling when she kicks into my ribs all day.

  • Yes, I'm 34 weeks and LO moves in some ways that are quite uncomfortable, causing me to wince!  I assume she is hitting organs, etc... My first daughter was not nearly such a kick boxer, her moves will generally just pleasant little flutters so this has been a big difference.
  • My baby apparently has leg measurements that are off the charts, and I've been feeling pain when she moves for about 2 weeks already! Perhaps I'm a wimp, but I definitely feel like the pain is real.

  • 38 weeks here and I've been feeling occasional jabs for the past month. He loves to punch me in the bladder! Sometimes it hurts pretty bad, other times it's just slightly uncomfortable. Either way, I think it's totally normal.

  • Yep, I get those sharp pains in my bladder and cervix sometimes. I just try to change positions and hope she'll move. It can get quite uncomfortable at times.
