Hi everyone, I have recently found this site (I know, I know, how could I not have heard about it already) and have been lurking for a little while and finally decided to take the plunge and introduce myself. After lurking for a bit I think I get the gist of everything, I read the "New here" announcement and all the other "announcement" discussions. If there is anything else people think I should be aware of please let me know!
A bit about me, because I feel like I know a lot about everyone else here already: I was born and raised in New England, and am still here. Yes, just like everyone else, I am done with the snow! My husband and I have been married for a few years now and wanted to wait a bit to have kids, well, I guess now is the time. We are looking forward to welcoming our little boy into the world this June! At this point I plan to be a stay at home mom once the little guy gets here, but who knows, that might change. I truly look forward to getting to know you all better and sharing this experience with you all!
I also wanted to acknowledge all the recent losses people have been experiencing on this board, it truly breaks my heart. I don't know any of you on a personal level, but I feel like I do just from reading your stories. I truly wish everyone the best and am thinking of everyone on this board.

@collydon, I actually have been lurking for a few weeks, you can lurk without being a member...creepy right?? Not to make you and @pinkkel9 cry but my husband just informed me that we are expecting another storm next week. I'm so over it, my dog is the only one still happy about this weather!

@katieluc106 I grew-up in MA, but I currently live in southern NH, we moved for my husbands job and love it here. We actually still own property in Southeastern MA, we just weren’t willing to cut all ties. Both of our families are still in MA so we spend a lot of time down there anyway.
