* tmi warning..lol* .....dr checked my cervix yesterday seen white discharge..ask me about it. I told him I had noticed nothing, no fever, chills, odor or discharge. He said ill look at it under scope and we discussed future plans. Nurse comes in with prescription for gel tells me I have bacterial vaginosis. I'm like what? ...lol she said 90% of women have it or get it. Well I was looking it up today,(it is most common thing in women..) because still wasn't quite sure but found out if you have it and don't know can cause 36% or 9 times the miscarriage rate in early pregnancy . It can cause preterm labor also. I crapped my pants I had ds at 34 wks and I know I was never checked for this. I wonder if I have accidentally stumbled on the reason for my losses. Sorry about wall of txt ..iPad doesn't want to do paragraphs:(

My Ovulation Chart
About eight years ago I went through a series of recurrent BV and yeast infections (the antibiotics for the BV would cause a yeast infection and then the yeast medication would cause BV - fun stuff!). It was crazy because I never had any real symptoms, and it's only because my doc checked under the microscope that he was able to diagnose it each time. I am glad that your doc found it, and I hope the BV meds don't throw your vag out of whack like they did for me. Fingers crossed that clearing it up will help you along you journey ttc.
