If you didn't have a childhood pet, what food and drink can you not get enough of in this pregnancy?
I got a kitten on my 3rd birthday and I remember the occasion quite vividly. He was a fluffy, all-black Persian/Siamese mix that we ended up naming Black Jack. He was a great hunter and brought many a dead animal to our front door. My grandma made me a quilt when I was very young and he would knead and suck the yarn tassel thingies tied in the corners of each square and purr - I called it the lickin' blanket and it was my fave, but my mom thought it was pretty gross. My great uncle was a fisherman and each year he would give my mom canned salmon for Christmas... let's just say that I probably ended up feeding most of it to my cat and mama wasn't ever happy about that! He died when I was 18 and I was devastated. I could seriously write a book about this guy! He ruled!

How are you feeling? Right now, a little tired since my cute alarm clock came in to wake me up and then started to cry because her stomach hurts - some mornings I'm lucky and can get her to either go back to sleep in bed with me, or at least turn something on for her to watch (she's been obsessed with the Olympics and "OUR COUNTRY!" so I was going to turn on snowboard slopestyle for her). I'm hoping the applesauce gets her going.
Otherwise, I'm feeling fine.
Do you have any appointments this coming week? None this week - I think my next appointment is my next growth ultrasound, which is 2/28.
GTKY: Tell us all about your favorite childhood pet! Pics welcome! I had a couple of dogs and a hamster and a parakeet. They were all fine - didn't feel all that close to any of them.
If you didn't have a childhood pet, what food and drink can you not get enough of in this pregnancy? I've alternated between Cadbury Mini Eggs and noodle soups (cup of noodles or Won Ton have been top of the list). Sour fruit candies, too.

How are you feeling? Good! I think I felt little one move this week, so I am stoked about that.
Do you have any appointments this coming week? I missed my anatomy scan (again) this past week. Going to call to see if I can get in this upcoming week, but I am doubtful.

I had several pets growing up but none that it feel a special attachment too.

Pizza, subway, cookies/sweets, turkey bacon, basically I'm going to gain a million lbs this pregnancy

How are you feeling? Pretty good, lots of heartburn and backaches, but other than that okay
Do you have any appointments this coming week? Nope, just had one this past Thursday. Did a quick ultrasound and everything was good! Next appointment is in three weeks.

We got our first childhood per when I was a jr in high school my dad was Air Force so we didn't have any prior to that due to moving. But we got Roxie our mixed pup on Christmas Eve 2001 someone had trowel her in a river and we rescued her and she has been the best dog ever. My pare

I am feeling good other than having a sinus infection and even with a ZPAC it's just taking forever to go away. Sucks.

My childhood pet was a Doberman/lab he was the sweetest kindest dog. Wish I had a picture. My parents probably do. His name was Gator.

Growing up, I had a Cocker Spaniel named Wiggles. Best friend a girl could have.

How are you feeling? Bloated and pissy. I told my sisters husband to warn my husband bc everything pisses me off these days. The sheer amount of road rage I have is unbelievable and I am not speaking to my dog.

She finally threw in the towel and gave him away when he peed on her brand new curtains. And about 6 months later we moved to a new house and when they were packing up the furniture in my parents room found about 10 little poops under her side of where the bed was! Ha Ha!

I had waffles for dinner last night, french toast the night before and bagels and cream cheese the night before that. And I have at least 3 boxes of sugary delicious cereal at all times in my pantry. Right now Lucky Charms, Frosted Flakes and Cap n'Crunch. And I have no kids...

We had two golden retrievers and lots of hamsters. I remember setting up mazes for the hamsters using VHS tapes. We got the dogs when I was about 8 years old and we named them woody and willy.

I had a pet cat named Rex who we adopted when I was six years old. He was the sweetest yet toughest cat around. There were many nights he'd come home with cuts and bites or a chunk of ear missing... but at the same time he adored my mom and I and always wanted to cuddle with us. He died when I was 19. I was away at college when it happened and was totally devastated. He had a great life though and was a true companion to us during his 13 years.
