Baby has a runny nose & cough. No fever. Flu booster is scheduled for Monday. We are going to Hawaii in 2 weeks & I really wanted to get the booster with enough time to take effect. It's already been rescheduled once due to illness. Would you keep or move the appt?

DD was sick the week before her flu booster. She had a cough and stuffy nose still. They said it was fine since she had no fever. We got ours. It is up to you if you feel comfortable.

I'd keep it if no fever. Hope he feels better soon and can you pack me in your suitcase??

I'd keep it as long as the pedi will do it--I feel like my kids rarely DON'T have a cough or runny nose! Have so much fun in Hawaii! I bet it will be better than you think--we took DS1 at 17 months, it was easy and we had fun!

B had the flu a week before he got his booster. They said as long as he didnt have a fever, he was good to go with the shot. Keep it. I'm jealous of your trip to FL.
