I Have Baby Fever.

I just finished a playdate with another family. She has six kids and is pregnant with her seventh. Seeing her baby belly gave me fever, which is probably crazy, but it happened.

DD2 just started sleeping through the night a little over a week ago. Apparently all it took was one week of catching up on rest for me to get the fever again. A month ago, when I was up every hour through the night, I would have shuddered at the thought of another. Now it sounds like fun.

I don't even have my period back yet and probably won't for a few months, so I can't get pregnant anyways. We're also starting to build a house this spring, so a pregnancy wouldn't be ideal right now. But, I can't say that I would be upset if it happened...

You are crazy.

But a good crazy. And I got the fever back in November when someone I know had twin girls, so I know how you feel. Thankfully, for me, it has passed.

Me too!!! Of course I only have one so far so it may not be quite as crazy to want another

The more I see people with a lot of kids the more I want a big family! Good thing my husband is on board!

We decided in October that we would activity start trying in November after our wedding. We had been ntnp since may, but nothing. Then my lovely AF showed up the week leading up to the wedding, a full 9 days early, and was still here on the wedding day. Then immediately following the wedding, and I mean about five minutes after the ceremony before we even got to the restaurant for dinner, I could feel a cold coming. Dh was sick for a week. I was sick for a week. Then the kids came down with it too. So needless to say, actively trying never happened.

I got Ku the one and only time we were intimate between 11/15 and 12/10 when I poas- after AF didn't show up. Guess it was meant to be!

Maybe it will happen that easily for you ladies!!!

The fever is so powerful. DS was sick this past weekend and hasn't gotten over it fully, just had his one year shots, is cutting his molars, and yet...I still want more.

DS still isn't close to sleeping through the night and we always said we would be done at 3 but I have baby fever too. My husband was completely against another but last night said he might consider it. I don't think now is the time but I'm not closing the door yet on expanding our family.

Ha, so true. DH and I have already decided to wait another six months before trying due to summer plans, weddings, etc. but a little voice inside me says throw caution to the wind! (Much like the first one, lol.)

I remember talking to my Mom in tears shortly after I had Thompson, I was EXHAUSTED and having bfeeding troubles due to an undiagnosed tongue tie. I distinctly remember telling her I could never do it again, that I didn't know what I was doing and newborns were just so hard! She explained to me the wonderful gift of forgetting and promised I would look back on those first couple weeks with love and admiration. So true, I can't wait to do it again!

I cannot even express how much I do NOT have the fever anymore!! I think it's definitely true that you know when you are done....good luck ladies with the fever!

You might actually get the side eye leaving in the car because some people have no common sense. Dd left her Butty Twins (NOT life like dolls people) in the car and I got reamed out for leaving my "babies" in the van in the summer.

They were half naked and lying on the floor. And they are DOLLS. It was totally an eye roll situation. I actually laughed at The crazy.
