Which pronunciation do we choose?

So, my husband and I are choosing between 2 names, but just realized we don't even pronounce 1 of the names correctly. We thought we'd leave it to you for the final word. Thanks!

Personally, I like Lauren a lot better than both pronunciations of Kirsten.

I like Lauren, but I would pronounce Kirsten with the "Kir" rhyming with "beer".

I dislike Kirsten based on the fact there are multiple pronunciations. FWIW, I flip-flop between pronunciations because I can't ever remember which of my acquaintances pronounces it which way.

My cousin's name is Kirstyn (fur), so that's why I like that one.

We have friends with a seven year old named Kirsten. They pronounce the kir like it rhymes with beer. They regret the spelling, as her name is frequently mispronounced (kir rhymes with fur) or people read it quickly and think it is Kristen. In retrospect, they wish they spelled it Kiersten.
