  @PrimRoseMama - I have an idea that "could" make the visit more bearable. Make a note of the off the wall statements that MIL makes, and make a clicky poll once she's gone so we can all vote on which one is the worst. 'Cause you know that she's going to keep them coming all weekend.

  My mom always comments in babies ears. I should preface this with my mom is the sweetest lady, just sometimes does't think she's saying something that could insult and would never comment to someone negatively. But all I think is what if my next baby has ears that "stick out"?? What will she say then.... I guess nothing. Lol
