I CAN SEE!

DH and I had LASIK today and after taking a nap to escape from my burning eyes, I can see!!! It's an unbelievable feeling and its only going to get better! DH had to have the lazer for 6 and 8 seconds, I had it for 21 and 23 seconds so my eyes were substantially worse and had quite a bit more pain. After 3 hours though, I feel good, just a huge light sensitivity. I'm happy :) just had to share my excitement!

    I should know after 3 months. They have a low rate of needing correction, 4% and they have industry leading equipment so I'm hopeful they stay good for many years!

    That's what ours said too. That's why I chose to do it now as opposed to waiting. I would rather hold off ttc for a couple months than wait to fix my eyes for another 2+ years. I hope you get to do it, you won't regret it!
