Long story short I could not get my insurance to cover a pump of any kind. I did however find a medela double electric pump in style that someone was selling. Although it was out of the box it had never been used. Everything looks great, but I am still trying to sterilize everything. I was wondering if any of you ladies had used the medela steam bags. It says you can place the tubing in them, but I just want to make sure that no water residue is left behind for bacteria and what not to grow inside of it.
I was also wondering do I need to steam clean the white seals.
Re: Breast pump tubing
I used to swing the tubes around and get the majority of the water out and then hook it up to pump.
