I get Mommy most of the time. Every once in awhile she'll throw out the "Mom" in an whiny, exasperating tone when I ask her to do something. She'll also call me Mama when she's trying to be cute and get out of something. It doesn't work.

DD (3 yo) started calling me Mom about 6 months ago. I hate it. I have always called myself mommy or momma to her and didn't expect to be Mom til she was much older. Growing up too fast.

DS started out with mama, has been calling me mommy for quite sometime, and I'm sure when he gets older it will turn in to mom.

I was mama when he was little and cute now he sometimes calls me mom, but a lot of times he accidentally calls me dad.

Started out as Mama, then went to Mommy and sometimes Mom. I prefer Mommy.

My six year old does that. I got a "madame" yesterday too. Typically it's mommy/mama/mom unless she's feeling fancy. Occasionally I get downgraded to poopypants.

DD1 calls me Mom, Mama, Mommie, Mother, and My Mother depending on her mood. I won't be surprised if DD2 follows suit. Lol

Either mom or mommy. Although I've been referring to myself as mama probably because that's easier to say down the line when he starts talking.

I call my mom either mom or mama and rarely now days mommy. I'm sure it will be the same with LO.

DS1 calls me mommy, I tried to make mama stick because it sounds so sweet but it didn't last long at all. I'm sure he'll progress to just mom in a few more years (he's 4).

Voted Mommy. DS1 calls me Mommy and Mom. I'm good with both. However there are no wire hangers allowed in this house.

He already makes the Ma sound around me. So maybe that.
But when I picture little house on the Prairie it comes off more a a "maw" hick drawl to me hahah. So deft NOT that way

3yo calls me momma, 10yo says mom or mommy, 16yo says mother. Every now and again a student accidentally calls me mom and I don't even miss a beat when I answer, "yes honey." (I teach 9th graders)

Which being a me to a question that I can't let go. Why oh why does Farrah from teen mom call her dad by his first name. It drives me nuts for some reason and I've never found out why.

Her sister and her are half sisters and grew up calling Farrah's dad Michael. Farrah picked it up as a baby and never dropped it.

I let A1 decide. I started out momma but now I'm mommy. I love being mommy and am dreading the day she calls me just mom.
