First time at my new OB's office today...

And I left with the best feeling ever! It's only one doctor and two NPs so it's very personal. The NP I saw today came in the room, sat down, and actually conversed with me for a while instead of telling me that I "have to do what I'm told". She didn't make me feel like an idiot and actually examined me (measurements, checked legs and feet for swelling, etc. All normal stuff but my old OB never touched me...like not once) - she even checked to make sure that I was wearing maternity pants and a bra that were supportive enough.

I also got to see our little princess (yes, I call her a princess) today and she is growing and measuring perfectly at 2lbs 7oz. BUT she is breach right now (I had a feeling she might be based on where I feel her kicks). NP said she still has time to flip so I'm not too concerned. And even if she doesn't flip and I have to have a c-section then that's totally fine.

So that is all - just wanted to AW my awesome experience with a new doctor since I've been having such a shitty time with my old practice. Oh and here is my little Valentine for your viewing pleasure

She still has plenty of time to flip but have you checked out spinning babies? I have friends who have had success with it. Google it

That gives me hope as I am strongly thinking about switching. I hate to do it now in the third trimester but it's better than not at all and having a bad experience. Thanks for posting this and sharing - gives me encouragement!! :-)
