Tip babysitter?

I'm sure this is a dumb question and I can't believe I have to ask but do you tip your babysitter? We have only ever left L with our nanny (except friends and family) and so have no idea. This woman is coming tomorrow from an agency. Do I just pay her the hourly rate? If you tip, how much would be appropriate? I feel like not a real parent for not knowing the answer.

    We usually give a few dollars extra plus bring our baby sitters a dessert from where ever we ate at.

    No tip unless they do something extra or at the last minute. I have a regular sitter. Occasionally I will give her extra. My one time babysitter no tips.

    If she's from an agency I would probably tip a little extra, because I doubt she's keeping all her earnings you know? If it was a college kid or something like that, I wouldn't tip.
