Cramps??

I've been having off and on horrible what feel like menstrual cramps since 3a. I've also had some bloody discharge and what I am going to assume is some of or what's left of my mucous plug. I am also "leaking" but my bladder is empty after it happens. I am 39 weeks pregnant. DH doesn't want to go back to to L & D only to be sent home again. I've been timing them and they average anywhere from 6-8 minutes apart and last 55 seconds. I'm a FTM so I really don't have any idea what to expect.

I called the OB and they said to go straight to L&D. DH is slowly getting ready. He thinks they will send us home again!!

Do you notice the fluid leaking more as you stand up or sit down? I had a slow leak at first with my our first son and that was how it was, then it slowly increased and started turning pink. A few hours later it gushed in the ER when we checked in.

Sounds like you should be seen.

regardless of what DH wants, it's about you and the baby. So what if you get sent home? Stop whining.

Little Avery was born at 715p. I pushed for maybe 15 mins. She is absolutely perfect!! Full head of black hair and eating like a "champ." Best valentines day gift ever!!
