Finally.... NO MORE WORK!

So as of 12:00pm today I will be on Maternity leave, and I couldn't be any more excited! But the thought of sitting home waiting is driving me insane. I had 2 snow days this week, and I went stir crazy. I managed to finish cleaning, washing, and getting ALL of the baby's stuff ready for her arrival.

So do you ladies recommend any good TV/Netflix series? Or a new hobby to pick up?

Anything at this point would be appreciated.

Yay no work! I also (for the most part) am done. Do you read? I've been reading quite a bit lately. I also plan to get out of the house so I don't get cabin fever. Maybe you could find some craft projects to do on Pinterest -- get a head start on some springtime projects?

@shellbell3845 I love to read. I just finished up the second Hunger Games. I never thought about Pinterest for crafts, I will check it out! I've been wanting to do something to occupy my time a bit.

@sjewood yay for yesterday being your last day! I told myself I would work up until I delivered. But I guess I never realized how much this pregnancy would take out of me! As for parenthood, I was thinking about starting that this week, as well as The Walking Dead.. I am usually not into Zombies, but I have heard tons of good things about the show so I thought why not.

So jealous! I am still working. I work in hotel sales and the longer I stay here the more work I'm having to leave for my boss to handle. Which is a scary thought, bc he doesn't ever return messages to people, and I basically do everything in the office. I had all my contracts in and all of my events planned through June 1 (even though I won't be out that long) and the past week and a half has been crazy and now I'm going to have to leave all these contracts floating around. UGH! Enjoy your time at home, hopefully I will be joining shortly!

@NoelMarieFrey I just finished "The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed up past my bedtime to read, which is not something that's happened while I've been pregnant.

I love finding crafts on Pinterest! They range from so simple to complex. Last year I made a spring wreath that was so easy but super cute. It's a styrofoam wreath form, lime green fun fur yarn, some lace flowers from the bulk ribbon section, and straight pubs with pearls on the end. You wrap the yarn around the wreath form until it's completely covered (great to do while watching TV!), attach the flowers with the pins wherever you want, and add a ribbon for hanging.

YAY!! Me too!! Ill celebrate with you, although my day wont officially be over until 530. But I am also dreading just waiting around, I hope she hurrys and gets here soon!!

Im addicted to ID shows and HGTV, but Ill have to pick up something new to watch now

My last day is today too!!! I am so excited! DH and I have dinner reservations tomorrow that I am really excited for. I am going to focus on rest, house prep, school work and more rest.

I have one hour left of work before I'm done!!! I can't wait to take a break...maybe I will get a couple of free days before baby comes (although If I go into labor tonight that's totally cool too!!!). I have just been feeling so done at work lately. Nap time sounds amazing.

I have been watching Bones on Netflix while I have been home. I love that show and am finally on season 8. (I started it a long time ago and am now getting the chance to watch it again.) I hope you are able to find things to keep you occupied while home!

My due date is tomorrow and I made an impromptu decision to start leave today. I'm in massive pain from a pulled muscle in my back, so I'm over trying any more. I'll continue rondo some work from home until delivery, but I'm DONE!!

Both Parenthood and The Walking Dead are great shows!

If you feel good enough to get out of the house (even if just for 30 minutes), that seems to really break up a day for me. I'm still working, but agree that sitting at home all day can be rough.
