Symptoms: yesterday and today I've been super dizzy/light headed. I'm laying on my left side and drinking plenty of water so I'm not sure what's going on...
We're still working toward 30weeks. It's crazy how fast time is passing. I can remember thinking that 24 weeks would never get here and now we're going on week 30!!
QOTD: Dh and I usually go out to dinner if Valentine's lands on a weekend or we'll go out for a special lunch date if it's during the week. Today though he brought me a cupcake from a little cupcake bakery here in town. Later we're going to take some flowers to out to the cemetery for our little angels.... then back to bed:( No other “special" plans (darn pelvic rest!!)
Sx: contractions have definitely been a little more intense, I think it's because they wedge his butt up into my ribs. I've also been spending more time laying down rather than just reclined.
Today is the gestation I delivered DS, sure seems LO is going to beat his brother! Excited for being more pregnant than before and hitting 30 weeks on Monday!
QOTD: We exchanged cards and gifts this morning. He'll probably bring flowers home tonight and we have a special meal being delivered. We tend to do Vday at home or celebrate a day or two late to avoid the crazy restaurant crowds.
BFP#1 9/14/10 (EDD 5/21/11); no fetal pole 6w6d, 7w4d, d&c 10/8 BFP#2 3/16/11, beta 138; 4/12 Baby/HB DS born 9/10/11 at 29w4d due to partial abruption and PTL BFP#3 8/19/13 Another boy! 17P, modified bedrest and Nifedipine helped us have a termie! DS2 born 4/19/14 at 38w5d.
I saw my MFM this afternoon. Cervix is holding at about 1.8cm. I had a little spotting first thing this morning which freaked me out, but everything looks good for now.
QOTD: We don't have anything planned for tonight, we'll just make a nice dinner and take it easy. It's been a long, stressful week for us so we need a quiet night. I think that's what we did last year too - nothing too exciting. Hope you all enjoy your days
@haziedaze, congrats on the milestone! It's a great feeling being more pregnant than you've ever been!
New here but thought I would join in since it looks like I may be here a bit.
I'm currently 26.3 weeks and had a cerclage placed at 21.3 due to funneling and shortened cervix. The first two appointments after cerclage looked decent with no funneling and cervix longer than before cerclage so I was only on "take it easy" instructions.. Then I had some extra contractions on Monday, saw the dr on Tuesday and cervix was shortened again and he put me on bed rest. Today's appointment has cervix holding, but they went ahead and started steroid shots just to be safe. I'm also going to be starting the progesterone supplements.
Nothing planned for tonight. I was going to make cheese fondue, but that would require too much standing. Luckily I bought a card for dh on Monday so ill give him that, along with the romantic gift of grocery delivery tomorrow. (He hates grocery shopping and is really stressed between work and me and baby, so this was the only thing I could really do to help out.)
Hope everyone has a great day!

Welcome! I have a cerclage, funneling, progesterone, and steroid shots too - fun stuff right?! Sorry you have to join us, but it's great going through this with others who understand and can relate. Hope your LO stays put for awhile!!

It's so hard when your plans suddenly change. It's nice know that there are others in the same boat! Grocery delivery has been a lifesaver for us, we also found an awesome meal delivery service to take the pressure off! Hoping you have a restful evening. Stay cooking little one!!!

Do you mind me asking how short your cervix went to? I have a cerclage, weekly appointments, and a fluctuating length. This past week it was about 2.6 cm, but I'm still just on 'take it easy'. Curious to see what other cut-offs/recommendations have been.
@haziedaze congrats on being more pregnant than ever before!! Way to go LO!!
@MissChanandlerBong How scary!! I'm glad everything checked out ok. Hope you and SO have the nice peaceful night you're expecting.
@twodaisies welcome!! Bedrest can be difficult at times but I'm glad you decided to join us. Also, grocery delivery?? My DH would be so jealous to know that it actually exists just not in our area. Lol he absolutely hates shopping.

When I was on take it easy, I ranged between 2 and 3 I think.
They put me on bed rest when I was between 1.5 and 1.9 on Tuesday and and around the same today.
