Growth spurt - how long for FF?

Those with formula fed babies, how long have their growth spurts been? S is almost 10 weeks, and this has been our most challenging week since the first couple. He was vaxed on Thursday wasn't fussy, just slept a lot Thursday and Friday and was a little low on ozs. For a while, he'd been averaging 27-28 ozs/ day, but since Sunday he's been up to 31-34 every day. He's also been super fussy and not sleeping so great. Sometimes up every hour or 2 at night just wanting to be held. He hasn't had a spurt last this long or be this intense. Wondering if it's something else? Apologies for lack of paragraphs, on mobile. Obligatory squish pic for reading.

My girl is 10 weeks 5 days (EBF) and she just got over a growth spurt. Same crankiness/wanting to be held/nursing forever...

  • We ebf but have had a really rough week. I can't say as far as ounces, but the refusing to sleep more than an hour or be put down anywhere has been exhausting. He did sleep well last night and is napping right now (unheard of) so I'm hoping we're on the other side of it. I never even knew there was a 10 wk growth spurt!

  • K is both FF and BF(I can't make enough to keep him full lol) and during his last growth spurt I swore he was eating every ten minutes for like 5 days and thats been our longest one
  • Thanks ladies. S has been napping pretty much all morning and seems to be back to his normal appetite level, sp here's hoping we're at the end of it. It's nice to know others' LOs don't seem to follow the typical growth spurt timeline as well.
