Bossy kids

DS has started telling me when it's time to eat, where he's supposed to eat, and when it's time for a nap. If I offer him a snack, he sternly says "Chair!" and walks to his booster seat, even though he usually has his snack in the living room. If he's tired, he stands outside his bedroom door and yells "Nigh night!" The babysitter says he does this to her too, lol.

    Oh, yes, I have a little boss here too. Her new thing is if I sit at the chair she comes up and pushes me with the grunts like she is trying to lift me from the chair. When I give in and stand up she climbes on the chair and sits. Then I sit on another chair - repeat 3 prev steps :)

    He isn't really bossy throughout the day, surprisingly. He is definitely not "go with the flow", but the only thing he really bosses us around about is his night time routine. After his bath and PJ's, he MUST sit in MH's lap and they MUST be in the recliner on the right side of the room and the lights MUST be off, and we MUST watch a full episode of Curious George. Then he MUST high five and kiss MH, turn on his humidifier and sound machine, turn off his light, and then he will go to sleep. If any part of this routine is altered, he will angrily tell us what's up.
