Late intro- inspired by the other Lurkers and sometime posters

Hello!!! Sometime poster, long time enjoyer, and never introduced myself- not because I am shy but everyone else is so much more interesting!!!

My first baby, Grace Julianne, was born on Dec 10. I had gestational diabetes but other than that and gaining 50 lbs, no complications. I was induced at 39 weeks due to an anticipated huge baby, and was in "labor" for 44 hours before a c-section. I say "labor" because the cervix softeners did not work, the pictocin didn't work (I was sleeping through contractions). They finally inserted the folely ball- which took 4 hours to "fall out". As you know, when the ball falls out you are supposed to be 3-4 cm dilated. I was still only 1 cm. the contractions I had were so strong (even though I couldn't feel them) that I contracted the ball out of a 1 cm opening....

After the c-section, several drs came by to meet be girl who birthed the folely ball.

Being at home with grace has been amazing! She sleeps through the night and is a happy baby (with a witching hour - no one is perfect) I go back to work full time in march....

I love to have a few drinks now and then....on fact, Grace wouldn't be here if not for a few glasses of wine. My all time favorite drink is a Pimms Cup.

I love Doritos. Those are my jam. I am not a big sweet eater, though i was when I was pregnant.

My celeb crush is Ryan Gosling, but honestly, my husband beats him any day! I should create some "hey girl" memes with him!
