Pregnant after a Loss

Olympics tear jerker *loss mentioned*

Did you all watch the interview with Noelle Pikus-Pace (I think she does luge)? She talked about her miscarriage at 18 weeks and how important family is to her. It was just heartbreaking, but also inspirational that miscarriage is not a secret. So many of us have gone through it and I'm so grateful that this community of loss has come together to support each other. You ladies inspire me daily!

  • I forgot to add that I didn't cry during her story (think I'm too tired) but it did touch me and I thought it was amazing and strong of her to talk about her loss on TV.

  • Oh, I just looked up her story and read an article on ESPN. I love how she talks about juggling those crazy adventure career dreams with being a mom AND then was open about her miscarriage! So awesome. Thanks for sharing!

  • She is adorable, and I love her commercials that shows her balancing her workouts and parenting. I just saw her spot on NBC, and honestly, kind of wish I wouldn't have. I'm glad she's talking about her miscarriage to the masses, but hearing about her 18w loss it really put my PGAL brain into overdrive :(. I guess I just wasn't prepared for that.

I loved that she shared about her loss. It definitely brought tears to my eyes and made me think of my fellow 2nd tri loss moms.
