Pregnant after a Loss

Name My Baby Girl...PLEASE!!!!

Sorry ladies for a name poll but I really need some suggestions. So here are a few things. Our last name begins with a P (yes, we have name in here that would give her the initials PP but I do really love the name). Her big sister's name is Kaitlyn and the middle name is Marie after her grandmother. We also want something somewhat unique since we have a very common last name. Part of me is just having a hard time naming her because of my PGAL brain...ugh. Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

As much as I like Peyton, say it out loud with Kaitlyn... Too matchy-matchy for a sib set IMO.

Delaney is cute and rare, but not weird. I love it! I have a friend who runs a preschool music program and there's a lot of Chloes in her classes right now.

  • I voted Zoe.  There's a girl in my DS's dance class named Zoe, and it's a super cute name  :)

I like the name Peyton also, but please don't give your daughter the initials PP.  Kids are incredibly clever, and will definitely tease her about that at some point.

  • Since I'm a bit of a name nerd, I like to consider how names go together in terms of popularity and when they peaked in popularity. So, according to Baby Name Voyager, Kaitlyn peaked in the 90s, as did Morgan, Kelsey, and Delaney (thought Delaney was much less popular) - so those names "go" best with her sister's name. Zoe/Chloe/Peyton are peaking now - so you'd have more of a "name bubble" with those names (though Zoe and Chloe feel more timeless to me for some reason - probably since Peyton wasn't really on any charts until the 90's - actually neither was Delaney!)

I LOVE Zoe and Chloe - such cute names! I guess Morgan or Kelsey match Kaitlyn's style a little more...but I like all four of those names! :)

  • Delaney is the one I have heard the least, so I'd go with that if you want something less common. Chloe is my next favorite on the list.

  • I just think that Kelsey Marie has a nice ring to it, but all of the names on your list are beautiful.
