For those of you on the East Coast - show us your snow - how are you doing? How much did you get?

19" here outside DC (NW Maryland suburbs) - here is M - we plopped her down in the middle - I tried to get her to do a rendition of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" but she declined.

If you didn't get snow because it's 70 and beautiful, feel free to share, but I might be sad

@chickpea912 - She is too cute! I didn't get snow...today. But we have about 2 feet in our yard. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow of our lovely snow.

I'm from California - snow is still a fun novelty for me (even though I've lived here for 13 years (17 if you count college).

Now I feel old - wish I hadn't done that math.

DH and I drive up to Flagstaff, AZ to get our snow fix (since Phoenix gets about a week of "winter") and we stumbled across this saggy snowman. I find it hilarious.

SS-ing ours from a few weeks ago. We had "snow rollers" all over the place. They are a rare weather phenomena where the wind makes its own snow balls. The larger one was 8 in across!

Not sure how much we got but the wind is whipping like crazy out there. All the schools are closed and I still have to work to go hoping by 8 am it will be a little bit better and the wind will stop.

We got about 4 inches which is a ton for us! It's our first sticky snow since moving "up north" from Florida. And you're welcome for the pajama pant picture.

I am outside Baltimore and this was yesterday AM. Poor DH said that the snow was super heavy and compact. It took him over an hour to shovel, so I made him a hot chocolate to say "I'm sorry I didn't help at all and stayed inside watching Dance Moms while you froze!"

Photo: I mean, I'm sure our street will be top of the plow list whenever it finally stops snowing. Just kidding. Good thing I bought snacks

@LilNunz1 Those are so interesting!!! I didn't know something like that even existed.

@MrsBHM Don't worry about the PJ pant picture - DH took a picture as we were measuring the snow at one point - of me holding a measuring tape, in pajama pants and all. He tweeted it out, and it ended up on the Washington Post's weather blog's page on their website. And people made note of the fact that he got a picture on their website, so theoretically thousands of people saw me in my jammies

@kibean Where outside B'more? DH grew up there - I guess Reisterstown even got mentioned on the Today Show for getting 22"!

@snuff9861 That is so much snow! I'm still excited about our 19", but the fact that some places get this much snow all the time just boggles my mind. We get excited for 4", so a HUGE amount is time for celebration!

@chickpea912 I am in Harford County. I don't live wayyy up north by the PA line (thank goodness) they got closer to 24 inches up there, I hear. Crazy...

ETA: my husband works for the National Archives and has to take the MARC into DC then Metro out to College Park or Silver Spring and I thought it was crazy they didn't close again today. Are things really that much better down there? We probably couldn't get out of our neighborhood and the delay doesn't really help him way out here. He is taking unscheduled leave...I didn't want him driving that far in this.

These are from 6 am this morning. I'm in NY.
Horses couldn't get to their water trough with all the snow. Crazy. We have over 2 feet.

I'm in Ontario. We haven't had any crazy snow storms for, oh... a week?

This is a picture of a sidewalk:

The snow was mid-thigh. I walked on the road instead. Thankfully, this is a very quiet street.

Also, since we're showing off our winter weather, ICE! This is from the ice storm that knocked out our power for 4 days around Christmas time.

I'm seriously ready for this winter to be OVER.
