Re: PAL Check-in

  • I'm PAL. I had a miscarriage in August of 2013 at 9 weeks. I was devastated and it took us a long time to conceive afterwards. I found out I was pregnant last May and was crazy happy but still had that fear deep inside. I bled brown blood early on but was told it was ok since it wasn't bright red blood. Well, wouldn't you know the next day I started to bleed bright red blood. We had an ultrasound scheduled that morning and I knew they were going to tell us it was over. We were so surprised that our LO was still doing fine and I had a sub chorionic hematoma that could bleed out or go away. It did bleed out and each day was terrifying because I didn't know if I was loosing another baby. I tried to stay calm but I was a wreck. I also got kidney stones that pregnancy and my water broke at 29 weeks 5 days. I was hysterical! Luckily with strict hospital bed rest, I was allowed to carry until 34 weeks and I actually had my baby at 33 weeks 5 days. His accelerations were still ok but not as good as they had been and I was taking no chances. After 12 NICU days we got to take our beautiful little boy home. We have recently been in the hospital after he caught RSV and stayed there fice days. I'm still reeling over it all. Sorry I forgot to answer the questions but that's my story!
