My heart is just breaking for REOM.

I got another text from her that said her H was taking Gina to spend the night with her IL.  :(  Poor thing.  One DD is away and the other is in the hospital.  I wish there was something more I can do.  I am sure it just doesn't even seem like Christmas at all to her right now.

    Oh, I feel awful too.  Emi's health is the biggest concern, but it's sad that G's first Cmas that she probably really "gets" the whole Santa thing and she's with the IL's.  Hope they're all together real soon.

    I know. I really feel SO bad for them. And, I'm sure Melissa is just torn up over that fact that G has to be displaced during all of this. It's bad enough that she has to worry about Emi's health. I just hope that Emi gets better soon. Let's hope for a Christmas miracle!!

    On the bright side, it's a good thing is G is still so young and won't remember that this Christmas was a little out of sorts. And, they'll have so much more to celebrate once Emi comes home. :)

    Poor family....I feel horrible for everyone. I hope Emi is ok and everything works out for them. What awful timing :(

    this is all just so sad and awful! I feel so bad for Melissa and Frank and of course Gina! Tons od get well wishes for Emi

    I do feel so bad for them.  Gina will probably think tomorrow is great regardless- assuming she has presents there to open!
