Anyone have toddler twins and a new baby on the way? I'm thinking about strollers. Would you try to find a stroller to accommodate 3 kids? (Not necessarily a triplet stroller, but maybe like one with 2 seats and a place for a toddler to stand?) or maybe I'll just have a double stroller and wear the baby for as long as possible? To be honest- we probably won't be going much of anywhere, ha!! Without my husband's help anyway! And If I have his help I can push a single stroller with baby and he can push the twins in double stroller. Sorry for the long winded post: any suggestions or advice??
Re: Twins + New Baby?
Baby wearing would definitely be the cheapest option.
Or, if you have an existing double stroller that can carry an infant seat w adapter maybe look into a ride-on board for the other twin that will fit your existing stroller, if you think they will be mature enough to stay on the board attachment. I know Lascal makes a few universal boards. (Edited to add: Google Universal Stroller Boards and you will find several brands)
I bought a used tandem made by Joovy (big caboose) that I haven't used yet since the little guy is still in the NICU. My twins are still huge Flight Risks at this age. The idea was for keeping everyone together & safe when I'm doing errands, out at dr appts, or church nursery drop offs. The stroller came with 2 universal carrier adapters and 2 snack trays. It's not for hills or jogging. It's also big and a challenge to fit into the trunk, but I stink at baby wearing and don't want to rely on someone else always helping me just to go somewhere.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
