PSA straw cup

Just wanted to share this in case it could help other ebf moms whose babies don't take a bottle well. Both of my girls hated the bottle. Only wanted milk from the tap so to speak.

However they both took a straw cup pretty early on. DH can now give the baby a full cup of breastmilk via straw if I'm out of the house. And I usually offer LO a few sips of water in her straw cup with her meals.

I just wanted to share this in case it helps any of the ebf babies who refuse bottles. It might be worth trying to go straight to a straw cup.

    That was my DD as well. Sippies and straw cups were all she'd take if I wasn't around. Plus side, it's one less thing to wean from. :)

    I like the basic Take n Toss cups. I think its like a set of 4 cups for a few bucks at target. But the best part is these cups create an airtight seal around the lid so you could squeeze the cup and a bit of water will come up through the straw. Really helps to get baby to figure out what to do. And all the lids and straws are interchangeable too.

    Thanks. I bought some of those already. I guess we will pull them out and try them. :)
