I'm not a hard core worker-outer but I would like to get in maybe 30 min of cardio every other day - my first official day back is tomorrow. When do you all find is the best/most doable time to work out?
My workout time varies based on when I can schedule it. I do run every Wed morning and go to a class on Sat mornings Most recently I have gone straight home after work, do the Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and then go pick up my kids. Not sure if this is the best solution long term but I am trying it out. I cannot work out after my kids go to bed - I am just too tired by then and when I work out in the late evening I am up till all hours.
My only feasible time is 730pm or later. I get to work at 630am, don't get a lunch and my evenings are all About ds until bed time . That said ... I really like the Jillian michaels DVDs and working out in my basement makes it easy . I've heard good things about T-25 as well. If I do that 2x a week and yoga once or twice I'm Happy
Since I'm neither a morning person NOR evening person, I'm lucky my work has a gym onsite and I can do it at lunch. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be able to honestly.
I don't start work until noon, so I exercise after feeding my daughter breakfast. I have a treadmill and an elliptical in my basement. Luckily, we have a playroom in the basement too. I have Thursday thru Saturday off. I am able to drop dd of at daycare on Thursdays or Fridays, if I want to go for a run outside or on the indoor track. Some weeka I'm lazy though, and I have to dig deeo for motivation.

I don't workout now . My last job had a gym onsite so I worked out at lunch which was perfect, I don't have energy in the morning and am too busy in the evening.
We bought a treadmill when I was pregnant and I have been using it like crazy ever since. I work out in the early a.m., after LO goes to bed or during lunch at my hospital's gym. I also take LO out in the running stroller several times per week in the evening when the weather is nice.
On weekends I do yoga and take off to run or go to the gym and DH hangs with LO. For just 30 mins per day, you can easily fit it in.
I get up around 5 and am at the gym by 5:30 am. I have way more energy then than at the end o the day. I just lay out all my stuff the night before and go. No excuses. It gets done and out of the way first thing, no excuses. It energizes me and starts my day off right.
I hate working out. If I do it, it is on the weekend or after kids are in bed. MH and I have trie dot work out a plan where 2 nights a week (1 each) we are each in charge of getting kids upstairs & bath/bed while the other exercises but something always comes up to screw up that plan.

Luckily DS is 5 now and he LIKES to watch me workout/ tells me to work out. So I usually do it right when I get home from work.
I can't do mornings. I tried for a month and it's just not me. Can't do it.
