Is on my shit list. I ordered my H his Vday gift on Tuesday morning after not being able to find what I wanted when I went shopping.
We have Amazon Prime and everything said two day shipping. In my email and after tracking the package, it says it won't be here until the 18th. I can't even contact the seller. I'm going to look like an asshat without his gift tomorrow. I know he won't care, but it still makes me feel bad!

On the other hand I've been prepared with a "baby's first Valentine" card for weeks lol

Just the other day he said ''hey babe skip the candy this year, a card would be plenty.'' Because he's on a healthy meal plan. BUT since it's Vday and he loves lemon flavored desserts, I thought my oldest DS and I could make him some lemon cookies or something!

This may seem lame, but when this happens to us we print out a picture of the gift and and tuck it into a card or something small. We don't really get hung up on the surprise element though. I usually get a "create your own 6 pack" of beer from World Market and put the picture with that... The beer is a great distraction.

Haha.. I've bought DH Starburst every year since we first started dating! We met in January and so V-day that year was still kind of the 'I like you, we're dating but we haven't had the exclusive talk' so I had no idea what to get him. I got off of work late and stopped at CVS on my way to his house to get a card and candy, I've done it every year since!

Gifts? I'm so impressed. DH is making us a special dinner which LO will probably scream and demand to be held through - then if he's really lucky she'll conk out before I'm too exhausted to have sex.

Bummer about your gift though, I've noticed I have to check with prime that the item is in stock that messed up one of DH's Christmas gifts this year.

Ok ladies...so...I just ordered a puzzle with our picture on it and it says Soul Mates and it WILL be here by tomorrow!! I got him a card and a hat. The other part of his gift will be late!! He's got a romantic dinner planned for just us two (he asked my Mom to watch our kiddos for a couple hours) I'm excited!

Ohh and DS1 and I WILL be making him lemon cookies

I am having the exact same issue. I ordered a book for dd for Valentine's day (H and I aren't doing anything) on the 11th and has a delivery date of the 18th.

So apparently Atlanta somewhat cancelled Valentine's day because of the snow. The government was saying if you didn't get your cheap gifts already, wait until the 18th to celebrate it since no one should be travelling.

Ask amazon for a 20% credit. They have done it for me every time something was late with prime. Including our $500 TV. (Thanks for the $100 back Amazon!)

I ordered a ring sling from amazon and it was supposed to get here by Saturday with prime, now my email confirmation says Wednesday!? WTF? I had no idea you could call to complain, I'm totally doing that thank you!
