like I haven't bought enough. Whether it's for my in-laws, my parents whoever. Then I go out at the last minute and buy more. Not this year!!!!!!! I am so proud of myself. Anyone else feel that way?
I get bad anxiety that I haven't done enough or that they recipient won't like the gift. I am so glad that we drew names this year and set a limit. It takes away a tons of the anxiety. My grandparents give all of the adults $100 each, so essentially they spent $200 on MH and I. I didn't spend that on them. I don't even know what I would buy them for that amount. That makes me feel bad too.
I do feel this way about my youngest niece too. I bought each of the girls (3 sisters) 4 things, but feel like I did the least for her. They all share everything, so it is hard buying for the youngest. They already have it all. I told my sister this and she agreed. It made me feel a little better. The niece is only 21 months, so I guess she really won't know the difference.
I get nervous that they won't like what I have gotten and that it isn't enough too. I made a fun movie gift basket for SIL, and now I think it looks corny and stupid. But at this point there is really nothing else I can do, so I am just going to make the best of it. Also, we were not able to do a ton for DS so I am tempted to buy him more stuff, but I am controlling myself. I know he will get gifts from his grandparents and aunts so that makes it better.
